Pre Voc Peer Mentor Company: Abilities, Inc. Location: Albertson - HQ Job Status: Temporary Part Time Date Posted: 6/3/2026 Pay Rate: $20.00-     Responsibilities We are seeking a Pre-Vocational Peer Mentor to provide support to students with Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) on Nassau Community College’s campus. Escort students to classes, volunteer opportunities and social events. Offer academic support/tutoring and assist staff in modifying assignments. Support special events related to the program and other duties as assigned. Create, maintain, and enter daily notes for participants into Medisked database. Additional duties, such as assisting with personal care needs, may be required. Qualifications & Education Current college student in preferably the field of Social Work/Psychology/Education or related studies.
